Here is one of the matodes i use to test stones density and hardness.
It will make small picture which stone is hardest and finest.
But its only approx test so don't take it to seriously I soak all stones in water for 1 day before test. Here are some pics.
Hi I compare my test with peace of plastic i put one drop of water on plastic too so i can see when water is just dry out. Over here in Denmark it dry out in 5 hrs. lv 5 stone dry out in 3,5-4 hrs. lv 3,5 is 2 hrs
